Friday - May 16th - Bat's Day

Surprising that crowds, although business, it wasn't too bad. From the look of the parking lot (mainly filled with teenage Grad-nighters) it was a fairly nice day. I guess it helped that it was incredibly hot. The new renovations to the Little Mermaid ride in CA Adventure really looks nice. There's no more googly-eyes on the star fishes inside the ride, which makes it look a little more put-together.

Bat's Day Cupcake @ the Jolly Holiday Bakery... looks so tempting but not for $5.99
There were many treats throughout the part in celebration of Bat's Day. Many tempting, just a bit out of my cost vs. taste bud ratio.

Something Strange happening at the Hollywood Tower of Terror.

First time I noticed this on the wall at Flow's Diner

Sleeping Snowmen?

Fridays are always lively... but yet it was another day with entirely too many people. Yet, you can find some real nice, quiet spots, if you know where to look.

We noticed a new addition to the Frozen reception. But watch out... he snores.

Makes sure to say "Hi" to Olaf - but do it quietly because he's napping.

May 6th - Beautiful Day So Why Not?

Typically May is Disneyland's off season. I've been to Disneyland on May 6th, for my birthday, for the past five years and typically it's dead. And it might have been...if so many rides hadn't been closed. Right now at Disneyland these rides are closed for refurbishment:
  • It's a Small World
  • Indian Jones
  • Nemo's Subs
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
Adding to it yesterday was half of Fantasy Land and Haunted Mansion for a good part of the day. There may not have been many people but boy were lines LONG! So...picture time.

Beware of Pirates on the High Seas. They're certainly not near the Caribbean right now.

Castle at Night. How Beautiful.

Mischievous Spooks are certainly up to something.

Time for a treat at the Jolly Holiday Bakery.

Friday - May 2nd

Friday had a little less people than the previous week, but it was still crowded. Here are some random photos from California Adventure. Do you know where they are?

Sunday, April 27th

Boy, this is busy this time of year. Where did everyone coming from? All I know is 60 minutes waiting in line to ride Pirates is simply way too long for me to wait. Five, maybe ten, but never sixty minutes. Captain Calamari can wait.  So... off to take more pictures. Can anyone guess where these were taken?

April 21 2014 - Disneyland

This is the first Monday we've ventured in awhile. This week we were blacked-out on Friday, and being that we were free, we decided to make the most of a Disney Monday. Now, being the week after Easter, it should have been fairly un-crowded, or so we thought. The week after Easter is not a good time to go. The crowds are enormous! Anytime you have to wait an hour for Pirates of the Caribbean… it’s not worth it.

So finding little to do other than harass the fowl, aka Lawn Ducks, I began taking random photos of Disneyland that may or may not be so obvious. Let’s see if you can identify where each photo was taken and what it is.
